Adventure Cycling Regional Gathering in New York on May 4 -- RSVP Today

Join Adventure Cycling AssociationGotham Bike Tours, and New York Bicycling Coalition for a special regional gathering at Nomad Cycle in Astoria, New York on Thursday, May 4 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM (program starts at 7:30). Adventure Cycling Events and Outreach Coordinator Eva Dunn-Froebig will be on hand to talk about the release of the new Chicago-to-New York route, new Amtrak services, Bike Travel Weekend, Bike Your Park Day, and new things happening with U.S. Bicycle Routes in New York. Lukas Herbert from Gotham Bike Tours will also give a brief talk about easy bike overnights you can do from the city, and the New York Bicycling Coalition will discuss their 2017 legislative agenda, ongoing Bike Safety education initiatives, and an announcement about a series of Cycle NY rides and the first-ever 2017 NYS Summit. There will be refreshments and a chance to hob-nob with many other folks interested in bike travel. Please join us and bring a friend!

When: Thursday, May 4 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Mingling starts at 7:00, and the program starts promptly at 7:30.

Where: Nomad Cycle in Astoria, New York is located one block from the 36th Street stop on the M and R lines. Upon exiting the station, walk one block north on Northern Boulevard, and turn left on 37th Avenue. Then, in 50 feet, turn right on 37th Street. They are the second building, next to the car wash.

Adventure Cycling Association, Gotham Bike Tours, and New York Bicycling Coalition will also be at the Bike Expo New York on Friday, May 5, and Saturday, May 6, at Basketball City, 299 South St., New York, NY leading up to the Five Boro Bike Tour. Stop by and say “hi.” Adventure Cycling will be at booth #1004 and the New York Bicycling Coalition and Gotham Bike Tours share booth #606.
