Join Adventure Cycling Association and Arriving By Bike for a regional gathering at The Vet's Club in downtown Eugene on Tuesday, October 27 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm (6:00-6:45, social time, followed by program). Adventure Cycling director Jim Sayer will be on hand to talk about the latest in national (and global) bike travel news, including: cool new bike routes all over North America (such as the new Bicycle Route 66 and the forthcoming Texas Hill Country and Chicago-NYC routes), bike overnights, the U.S. Bicycle Route System, partnerships with Amtrak and the National Park Service to promote cycling, national and state advocacy efforts, and big plans for Adventure Cycling’s 40th anniversary in 2016. You’ll also enjoy some beautiful imagery of bike adventures from around the planet. There will be snacks and beverages available. Please join us and bring a friend!
