Join Adventure Cycling Association for a regional gathering at the YWCA of Brooklyn, 30 3rd Avenue (between Atlantic and State) in downtown Brooklyn on Thursday, January 22, from 6:15 to 8:00 pm. Adventure Cycling Executive Director Jim Sayer and Tours Specialist Lydia Hess will be on hand to meet with members and other cycling friends, talk about projects like Adventure Cycling’s 40th anniversary (in 2016), the brand new Bicycle Route 66 and the popular Idaho Hot Springs Mountain Bike Route, other upcoming routes (like Chicago to New York and Texas Hill Country), bike overnights, and the U.S. Bicycle Route System, and to share the latest on national advocacy efforts (including partnerships with Amtrak and the National Park Service). There will be refreshments and a chance to hob-nob with Jim, Lydia, and fellow adventure cyclists. Please join us and bring a friend!

Also, an added treat — the reason we’re in the Big Apple is to exhibit at the New York Times Travel Show (January 24-25). We have 100 free passes ($17 value) to give away, first come first serve! Register online for your pass (use the discount code: bikes15) and be sure to stop by our booth, #658, to say hello! The show will feature live cultural performances, travel-insider seminars, meet-the-expert sessions, and deals from travel providers worldwide.
