Join Adventure Cycling Association and Gotham Bicycle Tours for a special party in Manhattan, near Herald Square — celebrating the new year and Adventure Cycling’s 40th anniversary — on Thursday, January 7 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Adventure Cycling staff and volunteers will be in town for the New York Times Travel Show (see details below for free ticket instructions). Join us for libations (including non-alcoholic drinks), snacks, prize giveaways, and more. There will be short presentations from both Adventure Cycling’s executive director Jim Sayer about 40th anniversary events and New York-based adventurer Charles Scott, author of multiple books, including the new Daunted Courage about a challenging cycle journey he recently took with his young children on the Lewis & Clark Bicycle Route.
When: Thursday, January 7 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. with presentations and prize giveaways to attendees at 8:00 p.m.
Where: Dancing Classrooms, 25 W. 31st Street, 4th Floor, NYC (212-244-9442) — very transit accessible in the heart of Manhattan.
