  • University of Montana Housing: Download the UM Housing Application to make reservations. Cost is $36.38 per person/night for a single room and $22.47 per person/night for a double room. Beds will be reserved on a first come first serve basis. The deadline for the application and payment is June 22nd. More information about UM guest housing. Bike info: It is fine to take bicycles into residence halls. Bikes cannot be left unaccompanied in the hallways, lobby, or common areas. Guests are assigned to the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th floors of Knowles Halls and will need to carry bikes up the stairs, as bikes will not fit in the elevator. Guests assigned to a single room will have enough room to accommodate their bike in their room. Guests assigned to a double room can make it work, but may find there is not much room to maneuver around. There are bike racks outside, but we advise against locking up expensive bikes outside. For accessibility and ADA requirements, guests should not lock their bicycles to the hand rails.
