Bike Your Park Day

Thank you for participating in or supporting the first-ever Bike Your Park Day. Over 11,000 people on more than 1,400 trips participated in the first-ever Bike Your Park Day. Thank YOU for making it a success! We hope you will continue to share your photos with #bikeyourpark. Save the date for Bike Your Park Day in 2017: September 30. Please enjoy reviewing the resources created for Bike Your Park Day and consider using them to explore your parks and public lands by bicycle any time of the year, not just the last Saturday in September.

Explore your parks and public lands by bicycle with thousands of people across the country on the same day — the first ever Bike Your Park Day on September 24, 2016.

Bring your friends and family and help them discover the bicycling opportunities in your backyard. Join the celebration of the National Park Service's Centennial, Adventure Cycling's 40th, and National Public Lands Day, a free entrance day in some parks.

Discover new parks or experience your favorite parks in a new way. You can make it your own experience: ride your preferred distance; go with friends, family or join a group; bike on trails or roads. You can visit any type of public lands, whether it's a national or state park, monument, or historic site, river, seashore, recreation area, preserve, forest, wildlife refuge, or parkway. Register your ride for a chance to win an Adventure Cycling 40th anniversary Salsa Marrakesh touring bicycle.

Share your photos and short videos from Bike Your Park Day and leading up to Bike Your Park Day with us.
