You say you’re itching to ride the storied TransAmerica Trail but coming up a little short on vacation time? This summer, we’re offering a 31-day slice of this American classic, so join us to discover the best of the Wild West aboard your trusty, two-wheeled steed!
Our group will begin its journey in Jackson, Wyoming, amid the majestic surroundings of Grand Teton National Park. From there, we’ll head north, cutting through some of the most scenic portions of Montana and Idaho, then cross into Oregon, where we’ll cycle across rivers, over mountains, and through the high desert before hitting the Coast Range and the Pacific Ocean. Logistically, this tour will be conducted in the traditional, self-contained style: everyone will participate in the group’s decisions and share the cooking responsibilities. All will emerge as seasoned bicycle tourists.
Devote a month of summer to celebrating “America the Beautiful” by biking through the mountains and vast basins of the American West, where you’ll encounter some of the friendliest and most generous people on Earth!
