Love them

I have had these for a few years and when the weather starts to get colder, I always remember them like an old friend. If the temp goes below 60, the wind in my ears causes me to finish my ride with a headache (don't know why) but these little things keep the wind out of my ears and seem to provide warmth no matter how cold it is when I use them, even though they are just flat, they seem to keep the air out. They are lined with a thin fleece like some long sleeve jerseys, so they are soft and comfortable and are very easy to attach and remove. I'm so glad I have them! |

Solved a commuting problem
by a member from Corvallis, OR USA on Nov 4, 2011

The long shallow descent that starts my commute to work has had me holding by right ear with my right hand, then my left ear with my left hand, to keep my ears from becoming painfully cold (and as the winter arrives that plan fails). The Dog Earz are a nice solution.
I velcro them in prior to the ride to work and remove them for the ride home.
So far, so good -- I expect the velcro will wear out over time, but then I'll sew in some snaps and keep using them.
For western Oregon they are very good, they don't stop 100% of the breeze but they make a tremendous difference in comfort. |

Very nice to have on windy or cool days.
Only thing I would change would be to have longer velcro straps.
Mine barely make connection because they are too short. |
