If you don’t use clipless pedals and shoes these are the straps for you! No special shoes required. Power Grips Pedal strap set easily attaches to your existing pedals. The straps fit most metal cage pedals that accept standard toe clips and straps. The set comes with all necessary hardware. Includes a micro-adjustable bracket which easily adjusts to fit different shoe sizes with a standard 4mm allen wrench. Available in Large and extra large; the extra large straps fit shoe sizes 12 or larger (depending on shoe style).

Best choice for recumbents

Great for recumbent riders, gives all the power of cleats on a recumbent and now you can forget about fall.
Your foot is down in an instant when that pedestrian steps out without looking. |

I've been using the grips for a couple of months, including on a recent 4 day trip.
They perform as promised; my feet slide out easily at stops.
I have a little trouble getting the second foot inserted fully while riding, but I've learned how to safely do that.
I installed them on my pedals without any problems, but they don't work on all pedals so buyer beware. |

Power Grips Review

Power grips solve the problem of needing two pair of shoes. On a 50 mile ride this weekend, I found that I had no loss of power on the pull stroke versus clips. My only problem, which is something I can get used to, is having to concentrate on not getting my feet too far forward and keeping my feet alligned. Clips take care of these two placement problems automatically. |
