The almost universal design which attaches via the quick release allows cyclists to get where they are going when the original hanger is bent or broken beyond repair. The Gimp attaches to any dropout, giving you an almost complete shifting range. Created with machined aluminum for strength, this is a simple and reusable product that was not designed for long term use.

	Just returned from riding in the Canyonlands around Moab. One of the riders that I was with broke their derailleur hanger out in the middle of nowhere. Thanx to a guide who just happened to have one of these emergency derailleur hangers in his kit bag. I will never be without one of these in my Camelback ever again. It would have been a LONG WALK back to civilization.
