Summary: As a 17 year old with 3 high school buddies in a "Bike-Inn" group of about 12 other riders, I had a life improving adventure. I have enjoyed bike touring ever since.; Commercial Trip

How did ACA Help? ACA provided 2 leaders, maps, itinerary, and arranged the school gyms, hostels and meeting rooms to house us each night.

Health Issues: I got "Bike Fever" and started a strange bike building hobby as can be seen at www.woodenbikes.com (The com is for comedy.)

Motivation: It seemed like a great smmer adventure with my high school buddies.

Most Challenging Aspect:Group dynamics were a moderate challenge for most people. I guess it is hard to compromise during one's "trip of a lifetime". Ironically, compromising ultimately makes it better.

Favorite Experience: There were so many nice cool, quiet mornings of riding the loaded bike toward the rising sun, and seeing the day start unfolding around us.

Least Favorite: It was tough at the end to say goodbye to group members and the wonderful summer of '76.

Tips: Enhance the adventure by choosing the road less traveled, literally and figuratively. During the tough times remember..."Its all part of the total experience."
