June 24, 2014
Adventure Cycling's membership surpassed 47,000 cyclists this year, and to help keep that number rising, we have a special offer for new members. Join Adventure Cycling by Monday, June 30th, and we'll include a free "I am an Adventure Cyclist" chainstay protector with your membership packet. This is in addition to 9 issues of Adventure Cyclist magazine, map discounts, and access to our guided tours.
Join today, and we will also include you in a raffle for a Shadow Pack by Richard Jones Convertible Packs. The Shadow Pack has a 650 cubic inch carrying capacity, and can either be mounted to your rear rack, or strapped around your waist making it great for on or off the bike excursions. While we're at it, we'll also enter you in a chance to win a 2014 Raleigh Sojourn touring bike!
When you join as a member, you are helping us create and maintain numerous valuable resources for travelling cyclists everywhere. These resources include:
Jump in on the conversations about bicycle travel in general, gear talk, the Adventure Cycling Route Network, regional and international cycling opportunities, and much more!
Learn the basics of bicycle travel, such as route selection, pack list recommendations, selecting a bicycle, and photographing your adventure.
Long distance touring takes time, and that's not something we all have. If you can't go big, go overnight. BikeOvernights.org looks at 1-2 night micro bike tours that allow individuals and families fit bicycle touring into their busy schedule.
These are just a few of the resources that are made possbile through membership contributions. Visit our resources webpage for more bicycle touring information.
These offers are for new members only. If you're already a member, please share this inspiration with your friends. No purchase necessary, see join page for full contest details.
