In the past week, I was blessed with the opportunity to spend some days sunning on my Bike Friday in the warmth of the Florida sun, away from my office in Missoula, Montana. Although large group rides are not a style of touring I am interested in, I took a risk and joined Bubba Fest with my partner, Shawn. I was pleasantly surprised by the experience.
If you had three, possibly four, days of bike-touring experience, would you agree to take 10 kids on a six-week cross country trip? No matter how you would choose to answer this, Mike Lessard, Adventure Cycling’s newest tours specialist, answered, "yes!"

Two weeks ago, we announced our complete 2014 tours schedule. Since then, the tours team has had numerous conversations with people who have confided in us that they have always wanted to do a tour. One gentleman even insisted that I tell him to “quit being a chicken and sign up!” so I did, and he did!
We'd like to share some of the great images from the Vermont, Inn-to-Inn tour that our participants recently completed. Our inn-to-inn tour format is an easier way to travel compared to our traditional self-contained format. Check out the photos from our 2013 Vermont adventure.

Glacier National Park has been on my list of places to ride for about as far back as I can remember. When I was given the opportunity to take on the role of co-leader for Adventure Cycling’s Glacier Waterton Loop self-contained tour, I was ecstatic.

What if I become horribly lost?' You wonder as you pore over your maps or reread your tour itinerary. Here are three easy pre-trip tips that have helped me stay confident as I strike out on tours of my own.
We love early spring and summer here at the Adventure Cycling offices. The busy time is upon us and we are rewarded with photos of riders on our tours. Not a sad face among them as they live out their 2013 cycling dreams. Take a look:
