"I took a deep breath,
looked for a final time
at those comforting
tires, pushed off and
to my amazement actually
went somewhere. I was
awkward. I was ungainly.
I hadn't gone more than
three or four feet, but
by God I felt the
balance and that was
enough. I did it!"
- Ken Turan, Movie Critic,

WHAT WHERE WHEN WHO

REGIONAL GATHERINGS
Adventure Cycling Association takes to the road and meets with bicyclists throughout the United States during these informal discussion-oriented gatherings. Regional gatherings are free and open to the public.

CONFERENCES
These are usually formal events that may include registration fees and sometimes focus on specific areas of bicycling. Staff has participated in America Bikes meetings, the Bike Leadership Conference, National Bike Summit, Smart Growth Conference, Pro Walk/Pro Bike, Interbike, and others.

AMBASSADOR GATHERINGS
Ambassador presentations are organized by volunteers, introducing people to Adventure Cycling Association and the beauty of bicycle travel. Presentations take place at a myriad of locations: REI stores, health and fitness centers, bicycle coops, schools, conferences, libraries, and others. Visit here to learn how to inspire a group of your own.
