Adventure Cycling Association has a history of individuals contributing their time, skills, and passion to help us inspire people to travel by bicycle. Thanks to our great volunteers, who have donated tens of thousands of hours to us over three decades, we’ve become the national leader in bicycle travel. Our way we show our appreciation is by honoring a Volunteer of the Year!
ELIGIBILITY/CRITERIA
The 2012 nominee must show their commitment to Adventure Cycling through voluntary efforts. Their gift to Adventure Cycling Association need not have occurred in 2012 in order to qualify for nomination. A nominator can re-nominate a past nominee that has not won an award. View past winners.
HOW TO NOMINATE
Nominations are only accepted from Adventure Cycling staff, tour leaders, or Board of Directors.
SELECTION PROCESS
The selection committee is comprised of Adventure Cycling Association staff members and Board of Directors.
All nominations will be honored with a certificate and letter of appreciation. One winner will be chosen and will receive a plaque and letter of recognition, a one-year Adventure Cycling membership, a gift certificate to the Adventure Cycling online store. Winners will be featured in Adventure Cyclist magazine as well as on the Adventure Cycling websites.
