Join the party at one of Adventure Cycling’s 30th Birthday Bashes!

Thirty years ago, over 4,000 bicyclists traveled across the United States on the inaugural Bikecentennial ride in search of adventure. This year, Adventure Cycling Association is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Bikecentennial trip, and all of the fabulous bicycle adventures that it has inspired. We would love for you to join us at one of our 30th Birthday Bashes to celebrate your love of bicycle travel.

Adventure Cycling’s 30th Birthday Bashes will be deliciously catered gatherings, where you will meet friends, old and new, who share your passion for an adventurous life on two wheels. Each bash meets up with an existing Adventure Cycling ride, so you will get to mingle with folks who are living the dream. Festivities include a Bikecentennial movie booth, thematic tables, bicycle trivia, a photo booth, adventure stories, party gifts, and an optional afternoon bicycle ride. We will receive inspiration from speakers and each other, and cap off the evening with a cake cutting ceremony. Please join us. Click on the links below for party details.

Register your ride
You can register your ride through our Rider Registry. Through the magic of the Web, we want to connect the thousands of riders who have trekked across America – north to south, east to west, pavement or dirt, solo or in groups.  We are especially keen to find original Bikecentennial riders (we don’t have records of everyone who did the big ride in 1976.)

We look forward to celebrating with you this Spring and Summer at one of the Birthday Bashes!

Sincerely,

Becky Douglas
