Forty-five minutes before the start of the race, Jay and Tracey Petervary sort the last of their gear and get their race-faces on (which for Tracey, apparently, is a wide smile) in the driveway of Robin Borstmayer and Michelle Gurney, the gracious hosts for several racers and various media dirtbags, in the town of Banff.
