The two professors in the GDR ride together beneath the sharp peaks of Glacier National Park. Jon Billman, the rider in blue, is an avid cyclist and a creative writing professor at Oklahoma State. He came to ride the GDR because, “It’s a journey. Plus, there’s a taco waiting for me at the Mexican border.” He plans to write a story on the race for Outside magazine.
