We have had an amazing response so far this month to the Build It. Bike It. Be a Part of It. campaign to raise funds for the U.S. Bicycle Route System. Your gift can still do double-duty. We are only a few dollars away from meeting the Cascade Bicycle Club match challenge, which we have to meet by midnight tonight. And, if you donate today, you'll be entered to win a SERFAS bike case from BikeFlights.

- Adventure Cycling leads do-it-yourself Florida trips
- It was the beginning of Adventure Cycling's Introduction to Road Touring, a measly 18 miles round trip to get groceries and test out our bikes. It was also, I suppose, an opportunity for our tour leaders to assess the weakest links. Encouraging shouts lost on the wind, California girls Lori and Pam blew by me as if I were standing still. Travelers have joined the movement, pushing beyond the boundaries of mainstream tourism, exploring the planet as never before. To commemorate the occasion, we scoured the globe for the guided trips that best embody this inquisitive spirit for Traveler's eighth annual "50 Tours of a Lifetime." Ready? Set? Explore.
