For those contemplating using the Crown Point Bridge across Lake Champlain, rather than cross the lake at Fort Ticonderoga, the bridge is now closed.  See: http://www.boston.com/news/local/vermont/articles/2009/11/01/lake_champlain_bridge_closure_presents_hardships_for_businesses_workers/?page=1
