I forget it is around my waist. On a commute to work, a coworker later said I looked like a truck from a distance.

I ride in the country. People think you are a tractor and slow down before they realize you are a cyclist. This is the greatest safety device out there. If you are riding at night you need more, but you definitely need this during the day.

Very Nice Quality - flexible, durable, and very reflective. - and a great price. Clips easily to gear or rack on my touring bike or around my kid on the back of the Xtra-cycle "Better Safe than Sorry" and Grandma used to say!

The order arrived promptly without damage. The product exceeded my expectations about it's versatility with an extended strap for attachment. Photos taken of me during my tour revealed that the Cyclists Safety Triangle was highly visible lending to a much safer tour.

I purchased the safety triangle for use during a tour around Washington state, and was extremely pleased with the increased visibility it afforded, especially on the days I was forced to don a jacket over my high-visibility jersey. As I met other tourists along the Northern Tier route, it became obvious how easy it is for a cyclist to blend in, even with seemingly garish attire. For its size, the safety triangle is likely the best possible way to increase visibility during daytime riding. I had no trouble using the integrated strap to securely attach the triangle to the back of my rack (on a Surly Big Dummy -- XtraCycle-compatible), though it looks as though it is primarily meant to go around the cyclist's waist. On a more traditional touring bicycle, I would probably try to attach it directly to a pannier or stuff sack, in order to make it easy to deal with on a daily basis.

I really like this safety triangle, for obvious reason of added visibility, and more. The ACA logo on the bottom of the triangle is a plus. I'm also planing to attach it to the end of rear rack using zip-ties. Good product!

I ordered 2 safety triangles for our Natchez Trace Parkway ride. We ended up attaching them to our panniers/rack packs on the back of our bikes. Rangers along the parkway complimented us on the triangles, stating that the triangles really help motorists see cyclists. I definitely recommend the triangles to help cyclists' be safe and be seen.

Great product: highly-visible on the road (and I love the logo). I would change one thing in design though. The belt is permanently affixed. I would put two loops on the triangle instead, and thread belt through, so the belt can be detached, if desired. If, for example, I wanted to fasten it to the back pocket of my backpack, back of a panier, or another piece of hardware, I'd prefer to do it with safety pins or similar fasteners, and not necessarily with the belt (which can reposition itself). Another point: It would be nice to have triangles available in three different sizes, the one I have being the medium size.

I just came back from a 1,000 mile solo tour. This was one of the most important pieces of equipment I took with me. This safety triangle can easily be see in rain, fog, sunny days, and especially twilight when everything turns a little gray outside. I'll never leave on tour without it!

Rugged, durable, versatile, bright, strap is great. Particularly bright at dusk - looks like it's lighted. Pin it anywhere or strap it on.

It works fine night and day. It says "Slow vehicle, so be careful". It doesn't say "I own the road". Required/Supplied gear on Adventure Cycling tours, and strongly recommended tours I organize.

I bought this prior to going on a supported week-long ride. The ride was on hilly terrain around rivers and I anticipated foggy mornings. I looped the strap around my recumbent high racer seat bag and it stayed in place while still allowing me access to the contents of the bag. Other riders commented on its visibility from long distances. I plan to use it for commuting this coming winter on my mountain bike as well.

This triangle durable and very reflective/visible. I only wish the edges of the triangle itself were a bit stiffer... (extra material, underwire, etc.) as depending on where/how it is placed, the top of the triangle sometimes partially folds over -- losing visibility of that part. So I'm considering options to provide some stiffening...

I bought this triangle for my solo rides when it's too warm to wear my screaming yellow vest. This triangle, though worn with an uncomfortable webbed strap, guarantees that you will be seen by traffic approaching from the rear. Here are some suggestions for improvement: Instead of sewing the strap on, why not have a tunnel "belt loop" on either side of the top angle, with grommets on each side and point. That way, you could use the strap ( which could be elastic:)) or safety pin the triangle directly to your jersey, pannier, etc. I used my triangle today on an LA metro area ride (about 40 miles) with traffic. I felt a lot safer because of its presence on my back!

I thought the Safety Triangles were very helpful and made me feel more visible while wearing them. I would alternate between wearing them and attaching them to my sleeping bag on the top of my panniers. The only thing I didn't like was the way the wide bottom part of the flag would flip up occasionally.
