ROUTES & MAPS
Our most important program.
Adventure Cycling Route Network: An overview of the routes including 40,974 miles we've developed and mapped.
U.S. Bicycle Route System: Adventure Cycling Association is colloaborating with AASHTO and other organizations to develop a national interstate cycling route system. When complete, it will be the largest official network on the planet, with over 50,000 miles of cycling routes!
Addenda: Monthly map updates on a section-by-section basis; be sure to download the addenda for your route before departure!
GPS Information: Download waypoints for routes for use with a handheld GPS unit.
Map Correction Form: Send us your map corrections by submitting this form.
About Our Maps: Details about our maps, which are geared specifically for cyclists.
Route Network Group on Flickr: View and share photos from cyclists traveling on Adventure Cycling's routes.
Routes & Maps FAQs: Frequently asked questions about our routes and maps.

GUIDED TOURS
Tours Matrix: Gives an overview of all the details of our upcoming tours. Sort tours by each variable by clicking the column header.
Self-Contained: Traditional self-contained tours have a single leader and around 14 participants who share cooking duties and camp for the vast majority of overnights (on longer tours, roughly 1 indoor night per 10 riding days is budgeted). On inn-to-inn self-contained trips, riders carry their gear, but there’s a lot less of it because participants stay in hotels and eat in restaurants every night (no camping or group cooking gear needs to be carried).
Supported Tours: Fully-supported tours are larger groups (typically between 40 and 120 riders) who will camp together and enjoy catered meals, whereas our van-supported tours have an average of two leaders and 13 riders who camp on most nights and share rotating cooking duties, akin to a self-contained trip but with the security and simplicity of van support.
Education: We offer two courses. Intro to Touring, designed to teach self-contained touring for the beginner, and a three-day Leadership Training Course (LTC) for those who wishing to lead trips or improve their leadership skills.
Sign Up Online: Use our secure online tour application to sign up for your tour or download the form.
